ولد نيكولا تسلا أثناء عاصفة رعدية، فأطلقت عليه أمه تسمية ابن الضّوء. في صغره، شعر نيكولا بشحنة كهربائية وهو يداعب هرّه، فأذهله الأمر. وبفضل عبقريته، استطاع أن يرسم في ذهنه اختراعات عديدة وأن ينفّذها في الواقع. بعدما تخصّص في مجال الكهرباء، اخترع نيكولا تقنية تسمح بالاستفادة من قوة التّيار المتردّد الذي يمدّ بالكهرباء أشياء كثيرة في عالمنا اليوم.

Born during a lightning storm, Nikola was called a child of light by his mother. He felt electricity after stroking his cat and was fascinated! With his brilliant mind, Nikola imagined inventions in his head and brought them to life. After studying electricity, he invented technology that could harness the power of alternating current, which today powers many things in our world.
