Discover our "Yala Hala! My First Steps" Series
Ya Hala! My First Steps series is intended to teach Arabic as a foreign language to Elementary students. The units and themes of the series were carefully chosen to speak to the interests and be relevant to learners aged 6 to 11 years old.
The five books of Ya Hala! My First Steps are intended to move the learners in the Elementary school from Novice Low to Novice High proficiency levels. Unlike Middle and High School learners, Elementary school foreign language learners of Arabic need five years of language instruction to acquire the novice proficiency level due to the fact that they developmentally are still acquiring their foundational native language skills.
